Applications are invited for a Junior Clinical Fellow post in the Department of Medicine at Chorley and South Ribble District General Hospital commencing as soon as possible, for a period of 12 months initially. This post will be based on the MAU (Medical Assessment Unit).

This post offers wide experience in Acute Medicine for those wishing to gain further invaluable experience in a busy but stimulating clinical environment in a teaching hospital trust, with excellent supervision. The post-holder will have the same annual and study leave allocation as Doctors in training grade posts in the department. There are monthly audit and clinical governance meetings and weekly teaching sessions on MAU. There are three purpose built Education Centres within the Trust and Library on site.

You will need to be fully registered with the GMC. You will either be a resident worker or be eligible for a work permit. However, the post may be suitable for non-UK or non-EEA job applicants wishing to apply for UKBA Tier 2 Sponsorship.

In addition to the basic standard hours there will be a Banding Supplement of 1A at 50%.
